1. Information We Collect

When you use Collectivate, we may collect: your name, email address, and phone number when you create an account; listing details (business name, address, photos, pricing) when you submit a listing; and inquiry information when you contact a salon owner through our platform.

We also publish business contact details (a location's name, address and phone number) that salon suite operators make public on their own websites, so that professionals can find those locations. This is business information rather than personal data about you, and an operator can ask us to remove it at any time from the listing page.

2. How We Use Your Information

We use your information to: operate and improve the Platform; display your listings to potential renters; facilitate communication between salon owners and beauty professionals; send transactional emails (account verification, inquiry notifications); and protect against fraud or abuse.

Our email provider reports whether an inquiry email was delivered, bounced or opened. We keep that delivery record so we can tell when a message did not reach the person it was meant for, and so the sender can see that it arrived. We do not use it for advertising.

3. Third-Party Services

We use trusted third-party services for database management, authentication, image hosting, transactional emails, and web hosting. These providers process data on our behalf in accordance with their own privacy policies and industry-standard security practices.

4. Data Sharing

We do not sell your personal information. Listing information (business name, location, photos, pricing) is publicly visible on the Platform. Contact information (email, phone) is only displayed when the salon owner has opted to make it visible.

5. Cookies and Analytics

We use essential cookies for authentication and session management. To understand how the Platform is used, we count page visits ourselves, without cookies or third-party analytics services: we record the page, the site or link that referred you, your device type and your approximate region (state or country). We do not store your IP address. Visits are grouped under an identifier derived from your IP address and browser that changes every day and cannot be traced back to you.

6. Data Retention

We retain your account and listing data for as long as your account is active. If you delete your account, we will remove your personal information within a reasonable timeframe, except where retention is required by law.

7. Your Rights

You may request access to, correction of, or deletion of your personal information at any time by contacting us. You may also update your profile and listing information directly through your dashboard.

8. Changes to This Policy

We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time. We will notify registered users of material changes via email.
